Real-time Performance Optimisation – PRiME video released

| News

Dr Josh Levine and Dr Ed Stott PRiME researchers from Imperial College London have produced a video explaining Real-time Performance Optimisation.

The team has implemented an FPGA based video processing algorithm with real-time performance sensors, which are transparent to functionality of the circuit.  With the use of controllers they are able to adjust the voltage and/or frequency of the circuit to optimise the amount of slack, so that the circuit is reliable, but not wasteful.
