PRiME All Hands Research Team Meeting, Microsoft, London
The PRiME research team, together with visiting academic and industrial partners met on 10th January 2014 at Microsoft Research in Victoria, London. Attended by over 35 research investigators, PhD students, industrial and academic partners the day was an opportunity for the presentation of early output and results. Theme research planning was also facilitated together with discussions aimed towards further industrial collaboration around integrated demonstrators.
Senior and research fellows presented individual findings and highlighted how research across the themes had assisted. PhD researchers associated with PRiME had an ideal opportunity to showcase their current work to the Industrialists present through poster presentations, these being particularly well received. A free session over lunch allowed for the visitors to view Demonstrators.
The All Hands Meeting followed a successful set of Advisory Board meetings the previous day at which the collected international academic partners and PRiME industrial collaborators received research updates from the respective PRiME theme leads.
