PRiME Forward Planning Meeting, Newcastle University

The  PRiME Research team attended a two day planning meeting at Newcastle University, 15th and 16th September. With the Programme approaching the half way mark the team took the opportunity to assess results to date and discuss research aspirations.

Each researcher presented slides of results together with an indication of how they envisaged their research direction may proceed into years 4 and 5 of the programme. The four Theme leads together with the Programme Director, Prof Bashir Al-Hashimi, used the feedback to formulate plans for the coming years. The PRiME Strategic Roadmap was developed to reflect these changes and will be available in the coming months .

The project plan has been adjusted to reflect the growing collaboration within the programme and immediate actions to foster these relationships further, such as Hackathon research weeks and the instigation of more frequent collaborative ‘hot-desking’ between the collaborating institutions.
