PRiME held its first Industry Day on Tuesday June 30th  Imperial College, London.

The day was targeted towards industry and businesses who were gathered to discover how PRiME addressed their interest in the field of reliable, low power embedded many-core processors.  The session was also an opportunity to explore possible future collaboration.

The event was well attended and mixed academic and industrial delegates heard an overview of the PRiME programme from PRiME Director, Professor Bashir Al-Hashimi and an introduction to the four specific research themes:

The presentation slides are available through the links at the bottom of the page.

An important feature of the day was the opportunity to see some of PRiME’s demonstrator systems which are used to practically illustrate the research techniques being developed. This also included the chance to interact with and ask questions of some of the key researchers from across the programme’s institutions. To coincide with the day a series of Research Briefs have been produced.
